At Holy Family, we believe that Music is a subject that can enrich our children’s lives and education in a way which will bring them both joy and a great sense of achievement. Our skill based music curriculum has strong links with our History and Geography Topics and helps foster our children’s natural curiosity and love of learning.

We believe that children who have early musical training will develop the areas of the brain related to language and reasoning and be able to apply their learning across a range of subjects. We believe that music can help develop children’s sense of achievement, their emotional development and also help to create empathy and understanding of other people and cultures.
